Youth city is a unique faculty that contains baithak, training hall. mini cinema, library, office setup (for entrepreneurs/startups) and computer corner. All of this is established to facilitate youngsters who do not have or less resources.
Baithak, have capacity of 40 people. Young people of Karachi hold their meetings, sessions, theater practices. Skill development courses and events, in Baithak is for free but the cause must be related to the personal or community development.
Mini Cinema,50 to 60 community members gather on the last Saturday of every month to inspire from our monthly motivational movie. This practice aims to promote healthy relations among diverse community, strengthen resilience, and inspire them to take collaborative of their problem community.
Library, for readers. Hatred material that promote sectarian activities are easily available but libraries are rare. To reduce reading that material, Taqweem established a library that contains books related to science, civics, literature, and psychology. We have 2300 registered members from 15 schools near to library. Taqweem also organizes a book reading seating with general public.
Training Hall, is for all. Speakers, entrepreneurs, trainers, donate their time for the awareness and training of youth. Taqweem organizes badges of young people to get training in our training hall to enhance exposure and build capacity of young people.
Office setup, Although Taqweem does not provide incubation but young startups who have business plans can arrange meeting with their clients and investors in our office setup.
